    • Proposal to be released on 11/3; Vote on 12/20.
  • Open Forum for Parents
    • Question: PS153 parents have a strong interest in an equal or second priority for the new middle school.
      • Superintendent: Additional priorities used to be available so it is something that can be taken a look at.
    • Question: If it is tight for PS153 to expand to a middle school, how can PS368 expand to a middle school in the same building?
      • Superintendent: All options are on the table to expand PS153 too, but there needs to be demand.
    • Question: Are there plans to merge PS153 and PS368?
      • Superintendent: No, there are no plans to combine the schools.
    • Question: There are security concerns about middle school students in the same building as 3K students
      • Superintendent: There aren’t any anticipated concerns and there are limited school security officers.
    • Question: Will PS153 be losing space due to the PS368 Expansion?
      • Superintendent: No, there are a lot of empty classrooms in the building and the rooms for the Middle School are empty and not being used by PS153. Does not anticipate any changes at PS153.
